I would recommend two teachers with good instructional DVDs: Jillina and Sulhaila Salimpour. Jillina and Suhaila both have excellent technique. Suhaila's is almost super human. I've taken classes with both ladies and have instructional videos from both as well. Jillina's and Suhaila's DVDs are about the best replacements for a live teacher. Don't get me wrong, live instruction is better than any DVD, but these will keep you moving until you can take classes again.

well I reckon that any video/dvd from the bellydancing superstars http://www.bellydancesuperstars.com would be a good place to start… they are all excellent dancers and have made names for themselves as instructors… from there see if there are other dancers who would be good!

the ones with neon are good, but you can look up belly dance instruction on youtube.com and get lots of them on there. good luck.
